Romans Chapter 3 [verses 1-20]

"All have Sinned, and Fall short of his Glory."
Chapter 3 [verses 1-20]

As a mom, it is so hard to find time, to spend time with the Lord, with these little ones, constantly seeking for my attention, yet even in the midst of my responsibilities, I've got to find the time, to slip away, and find myself in the presence of the LORD.

His presence is so dear to me! I long for his presence day and night, David the psalmist made it clear in Psalm 34 that no matter what I face on the daily, and no matter who I face, the LORD will continually get my attention, and my praise will continually flow to the heavens.

"I will extol the LORD at all times; his praise will always be on my lips." Psalm 34:1

"Glorify the LORD with me; let us exalt his name together." Psalm 34:3

As I quiet my mind, and settle my thoughts, I am ready to step into the room, where peace and joy fills my soul.

I exalt you LORD, I glorify you my King! Worthy is your name! Fill my heart with joy, fill my mind with your spirit that surpasses all understanding. Lord I give you my heart, and soul, come and dine with me!

Let us pray

ROMANS Chapter 3 [verses 1-20.]

In Chapter 2 we learn that God is not the God of Favoritism, and he holds everyone to the principle of his Holy Word; LOVE We later discussed that even JEWS who had the law, must also be circumcised in the spirit, by renewal, of heart and mind to be accepted in his sight.

So if being a Jew, is an advantage, what is the use of being a JEW then, if supposedly God holds everyone to the same standard!?

Jew or Gentile, faithful or not, God never breaks his promises! He promised, he will deliver it! You can be sure of that! There was a talk that questioned God's integrity among the brethren, in Rome, but no matter who questioned him...

"God’s words will always prove true and right, no matter who questions them." [verse 4]

Are JEWS better than others? Not at all! Everyone, including Jews, fall short of the glory of God!  ALL have sinned, and ALL are capable of evil works. Our physical nature falls short; we are quick to kill, and condemn, quick to point fingers at one another, quick to curse, and be filled with bitterness, quick to lie, and quick to poison. Only with the help of the Holy Spirit can we strive to do better, ONLY with his help, through his Righteousness, can we align with his plan, and purpose for our lives.

So in contrast being a Jew, one actually, holds a greater responsibility. After all they were shown the law first. They have no excuse, we have no excuse, those of us who have gotten to know the treasures of God, we have a greater responsibility to do better. No one can be made righteous by doing what the law commands, God made it clear "NO ONE DOES GOOD",  everyone in their flesh plans evil.

Let us not be found guilty in his sight, let us walk in the spirit, and put on the Righteousness of God which takes away our impurities, and makes us clean in his sight. Let us strive to meditate upon the Lord, day and night, and follow into his footsteps.

How do we walk in the Spirit? We must daily enter into the presence of God, and follow up with his main principle LOVE. As we step into his presence, we will begin to see the manifestation of his spirit in our lifestyle.

Stay tuned for the next STUDY
