Romans Chapter 6 [verses 1-14]

                "Misunderstanding of Grace"
                     Chapter 6 [verses 1-14]

Is Grace licence to sin, so that Grace can be more effective? No Grace is an extended hand of compassion, in case you slip. We humans are prone to making mistakes, but does that mean we should deliberately sin? No of course NOT! Power of sin has been broken over us, when we accepted Jesus as our Lord and Savior. How can we, who died to sin, still live in it? How can we still gratify the desires of the flesh?

Baptized into the newness of life, died to our old flesh, and it's sinful desires. Resurrected and united in a death like his, no longer enslaved by sin. Death has no dominion over Christ, sin has no dominion over us.

"For the death he died he died to sin, once for all, but the life he lives he lives to God. 11 So you also must consider yourselves dead to sin and alive to God in Christ Jesus." [verse 11]

Not under law, but under grace. Crucifying our old desires, nailing it to the cross, accepting God's mercy, and compassion, into our hearts.

Do not let any part of your body to become an instrument to wickedness, to be used for sinning, but surrender completely unto God. Be a vessel  that is willing to be used for his purposes, and not your sinful desires. Be an effective vessel in the hand of God, for good purposes. Sin is no longer your master, free under Gods mercy and favor, act as such. Just as sin reigned over your bodies, righteousness reigns over yours.
